Being truly innovative and working in a transdisciplinary field generates valuable but extensive knowledge. In close collaboration with the Innovation Office of the University of Basel, we developed an updated branding and communications strategy. We shaped and produced relevant content - published to let the audience grow - through creative ideation and editorial direction.

OFFERING A STAGE FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESSES OF THE FUTURE

We are developing and implementing a report on female entrepreneurship in collaboration with FEM.trepreneurs, an initiative launched by the Innovation Office of the University of Basel to promote female entrepreneurship, and FemSpin, a project of Swiss universities. It will be published in 2023.

THE ART OF HOW: A TRANSFORMED DIGITAL PLATFORM TO SHARE VISIONARY IDEAS

On behalf of the E.A.T. Foundation and the Department of Culture of the Canton of Zurich, we were responsible for the conception of the Transformation Project 2022, which aimed to address new as well as existing audiences by digitising the E.A.T. / Engadin Art Talks. The concept was approved by the canton.

TO TRANSFORM ALSO MEANS SHARING ATTITUDE – FROM DIGITAL CHANNELS TO PERSONAL ENCOUNTER

Is sustainable production enough to transform the design industry? How can we translate our profound change into visible signs and a guiding principle for others to follow, both personally and digitally? These are just some of the strategic questions explored together with the Basel-based design label INCH Furniture.

THE FUTURE LIES WITHIN THE BLOCKCHAIN

As part of DYOR, we collaborated with Kunsthalle Zürich and exhibition curator Dr. Nina Roehrs on a digital communication strategy that would take into account the complexity of art in the context of NFTs and Blockchain, as well as the strong Twitter community. Artists who participated in the exhibition were able to share their visions of art and blockchain not only in their works, but also on social media.

ONLINE NOW: THE STORIES AND IMAGINATIONS OF OUR FUTURES ARE IN THE ARTS

Within the framework of the Swiss Art Awards 2021, we supported the Federal Office of Culture in its communication and, among other things, developed digital formats to offer a stage for the nominated and award-winning Swiss artists.

FROM HERITAGE TO AVANTGARDE: IT’S ABOUT TELLING A STORY

Starting from the work body and knowledge of those protagonists who have fostered cultural dialogue in Switzerland and beyond, we developed and produced new narratives for digital natives and the international media landscape on the occasion of the Prix Meret Oppenheim 2021.

PROVIDING ACCESS TO THE INACCESSIBLE

The exhibition Selon notre regard, curated by Liberty Adrien, featured video works by female artists exploring contemporary worries: climate emergency, political conflicts, urban utopias falling apart, and women's roles in society. In collaboration with the curator, we developed digital access and narration approaches for an exhibition that was unavailable during the pandemic.

How do we imagine our futures? In the context of a self initiated research project, we are dealing with the question of how we can work with future scenarios to develop sustainable solutions towards desirable futures. Using methods from futures studies and other disciplines, the project is currently funded by the Mobiliar Jubiläumsstiftung.

Role models are the most valuable motivation for anyone who wants to take the step into their own entrepreneurship. As part of the Innosuisse Start-up Training 2022 in Basel, we were invited to give a lecture on our innovative business model.

In 2022, we have been digitised by the German artist duo Banz & Bowinkel, a project that addresses the issue of NFTs and PFPs and has entered professionals from a variety of disciplines into the blockchain forever. The project has been widely discussed publicly and published in numerous magazines.

For this self-initiated research project, we invited 10 Swiss artists to share their visions of the future through wishful thinking. From the end of 2021 until March 2022, the results were published as an online exhibition exclusively on social media.

Our second edition was entitled FUTURE UTOPIA. It's a condensed version of our currently already post-present: the pandemic. It was symbolized by a homemade soap, which was sandwiched between future hopes and wishes. As part of the I Never Read Art Fair Pop Up Shop at SBB, Edition 2 was launched in December 2021.

Who's the Artist? For the entire duration of PERSONAL SHOPPER, a pop-up exhibition realised in Zurich in 2021, the artist remained anonymous. A concept that we developed for social media as a branding tool and teaser for the subsequent exhibition of the artist Tobias Kaspar at Galerie Peter Kilchmann.

Are digital things valuable? Is there communication between things? Will we live without things tomorrow? Our storyline on digital communication made the Swiss design brand Ita Res visible and gave things a name: meta objects in dialogue.

During the Art Basel week in September 2021, we floated in a one-of-a-kind broadcast exhibition called AIRTIME, a design project curated by Matylda Krzykowski and supported by the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York, Swissnex and the Federal Office of Culture. The project, in which we participated along with 13 other innovators, asked the question: What is wanted?

What if fungi could heal our society and radically change our relationship to this world? Together with the artist collective PilzWelleLust, we developed a communication concept that artistically explored the concept of fungi and addressed it in various formats such as exhibition, conference and workshops.

As part of our FUTURE LAB, we launched the very first future edition in 2020 titled FUTURE NOW, a sticker sheet, limited to 100 pieces, created in collaboration with Ugo Pecoraio and Dinamo Typefaces, whose bubbles still adorn various smartphone cases and laptops.
